Please encourage your child to use the phrase 'my turn' this week.
Ideas:
Play a game (ie. Jumping Jack, Topple, Jenga, etc.)
Play on playground equipment (ie. slides, swings)
Play with a toy (ie. wind up toy, ball, blocks) If your child is not giving it back, politely say 'my turn' and gently take the toy to encourage more opportunities.
Take turns blowing bubbles.
Read a book. Take turns turning the page.
You can use turn in other ways. "Turn light on/off, Turn music or volume on the tv up/down, turn water on/off, turn volume on device up/down, turn device on/off, turn a top, turn a page etc."
